Logo Design
For this project, we had to create a brand and make multiple elements of the brand. The brand I created was kickflip kicks, a skateboarding shoe company that matches the culture its selling to. The logo was designed with a skateboard twisting into a shoe, representing the skateboarding shoe aspect of the brand, and the twist in between represents the movement of the sport and the flip in the name.
Brand Kit
We also had to create a Brand Kit, including a direct mailer, letterhead, business card, and folder. Throughout the kit, I incorporated concrete texture, tilted elements, showing the alternative and side of skating culture, and stickers and designs inspired by those often found on the bottom of skateboards.
